ok, my hand up - I am TTC - not as I type, but the general plan is there!

Going to the doctor tomorrow morning to discuss the risks etc. cause of the pre-eclampsia with the first, and also to look at having the Mirena removed - I’m petrified!

Heya!!

yep. Had the Implanon removed a month ago now!!

Original plan was to start trying around Chrissy/New Year. Naturally this was something that I proposed, and hubby has just gone along with it. If I left it for him to decide on a good time, it would be years down the track!

There are a few reasons I want to start again. Firstly, I am sooooooo desperate for maternity leave, any excuse not to have to work in my full time job! Secondly, I wanted about 2 1/2 to 3 years between Mali and the next one. Thirdly, a number of my friends from mother’s group are preggers again and I am getting clucky!!

Mostly, I really want to build on my family! As much as I love my full time employment and career - it is my family and lifestyle dreams that really keep me alive!

So, doc had suggested that I have atleast one menstrual cycle before TTC again, and that has already taken place quite neatly.

the question is, do we start trying now?? It took us 12months to get pregnant with Amalia, so it may not happen straight away, desperately hope it doesn’t take that long again though!

Naturally though, there are a number of things that we need to get sorted if there is another baby on the way! We are already at design/order stage for new kitchen, and currently living in a small two bedroom house. Have discussed plans to extend, but naturally that is going to take time and money??!!

This seems like a long email - am I thinking too much??

A Mirena is an IUD. I had one, and still felll pregnant. However most people swear by them. I had some bleeding when having it inserted and removed. But it is a very effective, and somewhat safe contraceptive.
